Now and then Celia Bryce has to spin plates. Occasionally she has them all spinning at once, which is something of an achievement. She has no dogs, not even one, and certainly no cats. She doesn’t live in London, but in the cold North East, by a cold North Sea, which makes her very fortunate indeed. Her ambition is to be able to write and sing all day. That would make her as happy as a hippo in mud.
