Literary agents for authors and illustrators of children's books

Sheryl Webster - author

Sheryl Webster - photo Sheryl lives in Liverpool with her husband Phil and four children Sean, Bethany, Joey and Katy.

Having completed a degree in English and Psychology she enjoyed working as a primary school teacher before going on a career break to bring up her young family. This also allowed more time for her passion of writing. Through her teaching and her writing Sheryl has a drive for encouraging a love of reading in children, and loves nothing more than to see her own children with their nose in a book.

Sheryl's literary influences include Enid Blyton, whose books she loved as a child and now enjoys reading to her own children. Who could not love Moonface and Saucepan Man from The Faraway Tree? She also admires the work of Julia Donaldson. However her greatest influences are her children, who provide the inspiration and ideas for most of her stories.

Sheryl is proud of her home town of Liverpool, but 'blue' takes priority in a family of Evertonians.
