About Tim Hopgood
When we asked Tim for his biography, this is what he gave us:
"Ten things you don't really need to know about me -
-
I once got in a lift with Dame Shirley Bassey (I was working at Vogue at the time).
I like drawing in biro (BIC biros are my favourite).
My first pet was a rabbit. I named him Bob. I was 24.
Most of the pictures for my books are done using DERWENT sketching pencils (4Bs are my favourite).
I like collecting things. My favourite collection (at the moment) is my set of Ant and Bee books by Angela Banner.
I grew up in Wolverhampton.
I like dancing to LOUD music, especially in kitchens - so beware!
I wear SENNHEISER headphones when I'm drawing - they keep my ears warm.
I think most things look far more interesting turned inside out - see my flickr collection..
I live in York."
