Jane Clarke

Jane has been an archaeologist and a history teacher, and began writing for children while working as a library assistant at Antwerp International School. Animals and archaeology have been her main inspirations, from her series of shark picturebooks Gilbert the Great to her young fiction work, writing first as Rex Stone in the long-running Dinosaur Cove series, and now as herself in the Dr KittyCat series. Jane would love to think that someone somewhere will treasure her books the way she cherishes the books she read to her two sons when they were small.
