Wildlife and nature, songs and stories have always filled Jane's imagination. This may be down to a childhood spent absorbing a heady mix of Scottish folk songs, books about Narnia and Farthing Wood, too many Don Bluth films, and Scotland itself.
After a few years working freelance following her illustration degree, Jane accepted a place on the Cambridge School of Art's MA in Children's Book Illustration. She went on to receive the Sebastian Walker Prize upon her graduation in 2016.
Now based in Birmingham, Jane is hard at work on her own stories and books, and looks forward to tangling herself up in words and pictures for the foreseeable future.
